Critically-acclaimed artist Lupe Fiasco has taken his business ventures across the Atlantic Ocean to Hong Kong where he has partnered with businesswoman Bonnie Chan to launch Studio SV, a new Los Angeles and Hong Kong-based content development, production and financing company.
The partners say the company will seek to produce inspirational content for an international audience consistent with Lupe’s Hip-Hop persona. They plan to release at least ten unique titles over the next three to five years with three titles planned for completion in 2018. A docuseries entitled Beat n Path will headway this initiative as we see Lupe embark on a cross-cultural experiences to delve deeper into his dual passions for music and martial arts while he practices with Kung Fu masters and explores China’s Hip-Hop scene.
"At our core we seek to nurture and champion creative talent who have like-minded visions of creating exceptional cross-cultural content that can be enjoyed universally — not just in specific countries or regions,”- Lupe Fiasco
Studio SV will make its debut next week at MIPCOM, the annual trade show held in Cannes, France. Stay tune to our website as more information becomes available.
